Parthenocissus tricuspidata 'Lowii'

Boston Ivy

Plant Type:

VINES

Parthenocissus tricuspidata ‘Lowii’ – This is a smaller vine with small dark green leaves with up to 7 lobes giving it a lacy, softer appearance than other of its cousins. Fall color is sometimes dark red to purple though this trait is not annually consistent. We have ‘Lowii’ planted in moderately good soil scrambling around and clinging to boulders on a knoll in afternoon shade. This is a seldom offered form of Boston Ivy. Spring planting is advised in the north. Cutting grown.
