BULBSAllium cuthbertii – Striped Garlic sports a lovely rounded umbel comprised of starry pale pink florets with a deeper pink stripe running down the center of each tepal which above fine grassy green foliage. The ovary in each floret is a lovely cool green very much the color of sugar coated lime wedge candy. The bulbs are covered with a curious hairy fibrous cloak. This is a rare Allium which considering its natural range exhibits surprising hardiness. Striped Garlic may grow as tall as 18 inches. Site in sun planted in any modest soil. If ordered in autumn your Allium will arrive as dormant potted bulbs.
