Short's Goldenrod

Plant Type:

SUN PERENNIALS

Solidago shortii 'Solar Cascade' Late season long wands of yellow flowers arch and cascade en masse on this very handsome selection of Short's Goldenrod. Attractive foliage remains clean and green all the season long. This fine bee and butterfly plant is another fantastic addition to the late season garden set before taller companions. And this species increases modestly – not an aggressive runner. 'Solar Cascade' is a selection from Solidago shortii, listed as a federally endangered Goldenrod found in a handful of small populations in Kentucky and Indiana... lets keep it going.
