An excellent long blooming candidate for the full sun shrub border or even in the herbaceous garden the 1 to 1.5 inch five-petaled flowers with small light yellow sexual parts occur in great profusion over the attractive silky blue-gray-green leaves upon an attractive, rounded mounding form. Applications are many: mixed borders, one component in a hedgerow, a low hedge or as an edger along a full sun walkway, etc. Bush Cinquefoil is tolerant of poor soil but happier in average to fertile soils which drain well.
