Plant Type:

GRASSES & GRASS-LIKE PLANTS

Carex flacca (syn. C. glauca)Sold in sets of 5 plugs; 1 set = 5 plugs. Cover some ground! Easy going virtually evergreen gray-colored sedge. As the blades stretch they will gradually arch over forming attractive, rounded mounds. A clumping grass, it will increase its girth annually and grow into a virtually weed-proof ground cover around woody plants. This handsome gray sedge is low maintenance; it will have to be cut but once each year either at the end of the growing season or before the new growth arises the following spring. Once Blue Sedge is well established it becomes more drought tolerant that other sedges. Plant in good soil for best performance sited in full to half sun. Pot grown division.
