Thalictrum kiusianum – This small Meadow Rue has typical columbine-like foliage tinted bronze purple upon emerging, becoming blue green as it matures. Summer lavender flowers for a long season stand about 1” above the mats of foliage. The Kyoshu Meadow Rue is a really cute, tiny growing perennial spreading slowly by stolons. It’s small enough and is sweet in a trough, pot or rock garden where its delightful attributes can be appreciated. Site in open shade to part sun planted in any decent soil that drains. Foliage grows 2" tall with flowers rising 3". Thalictrum kiusianum is clumping with slowly increase girth. Pot grown Division.
