This a very easy-natured sun-loving perennial, pretty in the midsummer garden. And though 'Rosea-plena' is the most common form offered Saponaria officinalis is not a plant that you'll readily find in mainstream garden centers. The straight species is found in every continental U.S. state and all of southen Canada. Site in any good, draining garden soil in plenty of sun. Cutting grown or by division.
