Farfugium japonicum 'Argentea'

Leopard Plant

Plant Type:

TENDER PERENNIALS

Farfugium japonicum ‘Argentea’ (syn. ‘Albo-variegata’)is an exceptional variegated form of the Leopard Plant with irregularly margined cream-white leaf margins on fleshy rounded leaves up to 10” across. Sometimes there’s just a hint of pink in the variegations. It’s a bold knockout sited in morning sun/open shade planted in the fertile and draining conditions it prefers. The yellow daisy-like flowers blossom in late summer. We wish we could grow ‘Argentea’ and the following outdoors, alas, our winters are too cold. Clumping. Established potted perennial by division.
