Hedera helix 'Bird's Foot'

English Ivy

Plant Type:

VINES

Hedera helix 'Bird's Foot' (ex: Joyce Fingerhut) - A most comely vine. Cute green leaves with a satin sheen display from 3 to 5 lobes. There are clones out there we think with finer lobes. And actually this clone looks more like 'Minigreen' to us; but its small leaves in any incarnation are nevertheless beautful, ever worthy. If you have the right situation be it climbing a structure, a pergola, an established tree, as a ground cover or even potted you'll appreciate its handsome look and its easy vigor. The shape of those 3 to 5-lobed leaves remind me of Pelargonium hortorum 'Bird Dancer' sans the colorful markings. Morning sun, afternoon shade to open shade. Fertile, moisture retaining soil though it will tolerat some drought. Established potted English Ivy from cutting.
