Erigeron speciosus 'Schneewittchen'

Fleabane

Plant Type:

SUN PERENNIALS

Erigeron speciosus 'Schneewittchen' - A large-flowered snow white entry with all the fine, casual attributes of its siblings. Each showy flower is 2 to 2.5 inches diameter. Narrow petals surround a gold central disk atop a matte-finished blue-green bushy plant. Average to sandy-gritty ground in a full sun exposure. Good drainage is important - too wet for too long the crown and roots suffer. Correctly situated this is a non-fussy perennial, satisfying and ask yourself: how many herbaceous perennials flower from late spring until late summer? Off the top of my head I can name a handful or so. A good butterfly plant. The species covers a wide range in western North America, south into Mexico. Established potted Fleabane from division.
