Geranium sanguineum var. lancastriense "pink-flowered form" - ​Long blooming, lovely and soft, these are divisions from a light pink population in our rock garden, not the vivid red-purple. The domed form is composed of green to gray-green hirsute leaves which are studded generously with 1-inch open-faced flowers in late spring / early summer. Geranium sanguineum var. lancastriense, commonly called the Bloody Cranesbill... nothing bloody about this... may flower sporadically after its voluptuous initial flush. It thrives in full, blazing sun in scrabbled, well-drained and impoverished conditions and always appears neat and attractive. Rabbits don't like it, butterflies do. A once-a-season cleanup and you're good to go! Established potted perennial geranium from division to assure the light pink color.
