Euphorbia griffithii 'Fire Charm' - Spring flowers composed of showy bracts are clustered near and at tops of stems in bright tints of salmon to orange and pink to carmine-fuchsia. Green ellipses of leaves emerge with a touch of rouge from deep red stems. Stems retain the ruby shade.The carnival colors catch and draw the eye making a resplendent accent or a grouping that will demand attention. Not running, 'Fire Charm' will clump but expand over time creating one heck-of-a low-maintenance large-scale ground cover. Or it can be simply used as an accent in a perennial garden scheme. Gorgeous with grasses it will make a beautiful statement before and between shrubby conifers - striking if clipped and formal in a foundation border. The Euphorbia are somewhat ignored by gardeners... Dudes: catch up! Ease of cultivation, not pestered by insect or animal, handsome from start to finish - what's not to like?! Some folks are sensitive to the white, milky sap of plants in Euphorbiaceae. Contact with skin can cause irritation; though annoying while it endures to the handful with sensitivity the sap is not imperiling. Deer resistant... maybe to do with its sap? Easy and happy in part to full sun in fertile, draining soil. Established pot grown plant by division.
