Viola odorata 'Royal Wedding' - A very fragrant white Sweet Violet with heavy bloom in the spring followed by a potential recurrence August to October. Nice! Taller growing than many of its brethren it displays typical dark to medium green heart to broadly spatulate-shaped leaves. This Sweet Violet would be lovely at garden's edge or a gentle standout in the climax lawn where it will form a colony with plants here and there among other denizens. Easy to please Viola odorata 'Royal Wedding' will be happy in modest to fertile soil; really any soil that holds on to moisture between rains. Exposure is morning sun to dappled light or open shade in the afternoon. Consider more afternoon shade in hotter parts of the country, more sun will be fine in the north.
