Each pristine flower is composed of 5 reflexed petals. Foliage is bright green. Site Styrax americanus in plenty of sun planted in moist acid soil. The American Snowbell should be seen more in gardens. For gardeners towards the northern end of its range spring planting is advised. Cutting grown.
