Plant Type:

ARID LAND PLANTS

Sempervivum arachnoideum 'Laggeri' - Rosettes are red-maroon with the youngest fleshy leaves at the hearts in contrasting green all covered in silvery white webbing. It will gradually expand into a small mat. This little evergreen cobwebbed beauty will grace the full sun garden in impoverished to average soil - sandy, scrabbled and calcareous will be fine. It will be very nice among boulders, edging a raised walled border or even in the larger trough. We don't know where this species selection originated with certainty; however, there is a beautiful area of Greece called Laggeri... maybe? Established potted Cobweb Houseleeks from offsets.
