Narcissus un-identified heirloom
Daffodil
Plant Type:
BULBSNarcissus “unidentified heirloom” - a friend in a neighboring town gave us some of these bulbs that had been growing in the gardens on her property. They are undoubtedly an heirloom. But I looked and looked; it didn't exactly match up to any of the heirlooms depicted on line (there are many more than I knew!) The closest I came to and ID though I'm still not convinced is Narcissus incomparabilis var. plenus, If any among you recognize this strong, sIf any among you know the name for this strong grower please do let us know. Foliage is clean and a darkish green. Buds are fat and open into the golden double flowers. Full to nearly full sun in fertile, draining ground.
