Iris pseudacorus 'Mini Cascade' - This is a very dwarf form of Yellow Flag. Though said to grow about 8 to 10 inches tall one reporter indicated that it might grow as tall as 14 inches. In pots it has only ever achieved 3 to 4 inches which suggests it might make a great trough specimen. Typical sunny yellow iris flowers in spring atop sturdy stalks among fans of broad, flattened gray-green blades. The foliage fans which are attractive for the entire season beyond the flowering event are a good contrasting design element to more clumping and "leafy" garden denizens. Site in full to part sun in fertile, moist to even fairly wet ground. Established pot by good old-fashioned division. If you live in NY state we regret that we cannot ship this mini iris to you. Very sorry.
