Hydrangea serrata 'Rosalba'

Lace Cap Hydrangea

Plant Type:

DECIDUOUS SHRUBS

Hydrangea serrata ‘Rosalba’ (ex: Nick Nickou) – This is an old, lovely cultivar with pretty pastel white-pink lace cap corymbs in summer to fall. This gently-colored heirloom will add a simple, elegant country flair hearkening back to a quieter era if that is the feel you're wanting to effect in your garden. The ovate serrated leaves, narrower than H. macrophylla, turn red in late summer. This beautiful plant originally came to us as cuttings taken from Nick Nickou’s shrub set in one of his extraordinary gardens in Branford, Connecticut.
