Hamamelis virginiana 'Green Thumb'

Eastern Witchhazel

Plant Type:

DECIDUOUS SHRUBS

Hamamelis virginiana 'Green Thumb' - A more demure form of the Eastern Witchhazel with all deep green leaves irregularly edged with lighter green to greenish gold margins, some of the brighter edges quite broad while others are less so. Ours is rounded in form, certainly more shrubby that tall, with twiggy stems - really quite lovely. Typical late season autumn light yellow witchhazel flowers extend interest and sometimes respectable yellow leaves occur on this interesting form. Plant in fertile soil sited in half, dappled or open shade. Established potted starter shrub from cutting.
