Deutzia gracilis 'Chardonnay Pearls'

Slender Deutzia

Plant Type:

DECIDUOUS SHRUBS

Deutzia 'Chardonnay Pearls' - Soft yellow leaves entirely cloak a dwarf twiggy shrub with stems that trend vertical - think a blond Don King. A plethora of pearly white buds set up on upright racemes which open in mid to late spring as pure white fragrant flowers - star-embroidered lace grace this gentle, mounding shrub. Just lovely. The remainder of the garden season is blessed with a soft yellow shrub, effectively contrasting other plants with bolder and differently-colored leaves. This is a shrub that will be content in partial shade; in more shade the leaves will pick up a greener chartreuse tint whereas a more yellow-chartreuse tint will be apparent in sun. Average to fertile soil. Established potted Slender Deutzia from cutting. These will be flowering size.
