Amarcrinum x 'Elegance'

Amarcrinum

Plant Type:

BULBS

Amarcrinum 'Elegance' - 'Elegance' is lovely and floriferous, too. This selection, a cross between Amaryllis belladona with Crinum hybrid, produces blush pink lily flowers. The hue is indescribable in both the buds and trumpets; it has to be seen to know. There is a purity in it - a baby pink, a conch pink with an aura. It's immediately heartwarming, delicious and endearing. Up to 27 buds per fleshy stalk opening in succession over a period of many weeks in summer. Flowering stalks rise up to 42 inches tall. Glossy rich green strap-shaped leaves are also fleshy. If grown potted which would be necessary in the north be sure to keep it drier in winter. Fertile draining soil in full to half sun. Established potted plant from offset.
