Agapanthus campanulatus "hardy white form"

African Lily

Plant Type:

BULBS

Agapanthus campanulatus "hardy white form" – Seldom do we see this African Lily offered. This Lily of the Nile came to us as “hardy white form” though it may be the cultivar 'Polar Ice'. It has survived and flowered here in a south facing border, full sun in USDA zone 5b. The flowers are white with just a touch of black-purple at the base. They are large, of typical rounded form over strap-shaped leaves. Site all African Lilies in sun planted in draining fertile soil. Drier winter conditions would be wise especially when planted farther north. Clumping. Established pot grown division - multiple eyes.
