Polygonatum lasianthum v. trichosanthum 'Kon Chiri Shima' - Beautiful longitudinal striping of differing widths on all leaves alternate between yellow-green-chartreuse and green. No two artful leaves are alike. Each leaf is up to 3 inches long by 1.5 inches wide. Spring flowers are white bells. Stems arc attractively as is typical of this fine genus, a favorite ours. This is a slow grower and it will take years to develop into a substantial patch. It's choice and a collector plant for sure. 'Kon Chiri Shima' has been a strong grower in pots and does not appear finicky; it's just been very slow to size up. Woodland conditions: fertile draining ground in dappled to open shade. Established potted Asian Polygonatum via division.
