Arisaema candidissimum - ​Beautiful milk- white and soft pink-striped, the Chinese Jack-in-the-Pulpit flowers rising here late June or early July, sooner down south. The base of the flower is green but still exhibiting white stripes on the outside of the flower. Big tri-lobed tropical looking leaves unfurl while the spathe is enchanting us. The foliage looks good for most of the summer. Another common name is Striped Cobra Lily. Neither of the common names do justice to this exquisite aroid. This, oh, so pretty Arisaema will tolerate not only more sun but somewhat drier conditions than its fascinating cousins.
