Ranunculus aconitifolius 'Flore Pleno' - Fantastic fully double white pompoms with cool and refreshing green centers set atop 12 to 18-inch stems. Flowers erupt for upwards of 10 weeks from late spring deep into summer. Dark green serrated leaves set oppositely in a virtual whorl. This is a sterile form so no worries about it seeding all over creation. Best in fertile soils that drain in more sun than not. A perennial of easy nature it is in the perennial border, a traditional English cottage garden or as a long-blooming filler plant wherever your creative heart desires. This is sometimes referred to as "White Bachelor Buttons"... confusing as Bachelor Buttons for many folks is Centaurea cyanus. Another common name is Fair Maids of France.
