Hepatica nobilis "blue form" - Six-petaled blue flowers arise on wiry stems, each with a small green central "button" from which the white anthers radiate. Dainty, lovely - an established Pennywort will create an elfin bouquet in the early spring garden. Smooth-edged tri-lobed leaves, each lobe triangular in form are attractive through the growing season. They are reminiscent of stylized clubs, the quadrant in a deck of playing cards.
