Aconitum carmichaelii 'Arendsii' (syn. A. x arendsii) – One of the latest Monkshood to bloom with tall spikes to 6 feet adorned with large, showy deep blue-purple flowers that resemble conquistador helmets. Flowers in October for us and withstands multiple light to moderate frosts. Not a new plant but one very worthy for its color, texture, strength, animal resistance and exceptional late season interest. Fertile soil in part sun to dappled shade. Pot grown Division.
