Sanguinaria canadensis 'Edith Dusek' (ex: Jonathan Lehrer) - This Jerry Flintoff selection of Bloodroot displays much larger flowers than the species and when in flower is much showier than its smaller flowered sibling. White flowers occur in April. The foliage is bold, interesting and remains handsome all season long. Site in shade to dappled sun planted in fertile, moisture retaining to draining soil. Bloodroot is deer resistant. Established pot grown division.
