Quackin' Grass is a seasonal nursery with doors opening on Saturday, April 14, 2012.

We will close to the public on Sunday, October 14.

We open to the public for on site sales Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 9 am to 5 pm.

We are closed to the public Mondays through Thursdays unless special arrangements have been made beforehand.

We are closed July 4th weekend.

We are closed Labor Day weekend.

Quackin’ Grass Nursery is situated in the northeast corner of Connecticut at 16 Laurel Hill Road in the town of Brooklyn. We are just off of Route 6, near Interstate 395.

From PROVIDENCE, RI and points east take Route 6 west to the town of Brooklyn, CT. At the intersection of Route 6 and Route 169 (this is center Brooklyn) go straight through the traffic light staying on Route 6 west. Laurel Hill Road is exactly 1 mile ahead on the right. At the entrance of Laurel Hill Road you will see the Quackin’ Grass Nursery/CT Grown sign pointing the way in. Turn right onto Laurel Hill Road. The entrance to Quackin’ Grass Nursery is the 2nd driveway on the right. We are approximately 40 minutes from downtown Providence.

From HARTFORD, WILLIMANTIC and points west take Route 6 east to the town of Brooklyn. Keep a lookout for the Quackin’ Grass Nursery/CT Grown sign on the right side of the road. Slow down. Laurel Hill Road is the next left turn. Turn left onto Laurel Hill Road. Quackin’ Grass Nursery is the 2nd driveway on the right. If you find yourself at the intersection of Route 6 and Route 169 (center Brooklyn) you have traveled exactly one mile too far! We are 20 minutes from downtown Willimantic and approximately 50 minutes from downtown Hartford.

From NEW LONDON, NORWICH and points south take 395 north to exit 91. This will put you on Route 6 west. Follow above instructions from Providence and points east. We are approximately 20 minutes from Norwich, 45 minutes from downtown New London. (Scenic alternative from NEW LONDON and points south: take I-395 north to the Lisbon exit, route 169. Turn left at the end of the ramp onto Route 169 north. Follow 169 north until you come to the traffic light at the intersection of Route 169 and Route 6, Brooklyn center. Turn left onto Route 6. Follow Route 6 west for exactly 1 mile. Look for the Quackin’ Grass Nursery/CT Grown sign at the juncture of Route 6 and Laurel Hill Road. Turn right onto Laurel Hill Road. We are the 2nd driveway on the right.)

From WORCESTER, MA and points north take I-395 south to exit 91. This will put you on Route 6 west. Follow above instructions from Providence and points east. We are approximately 30 to 35 minutes from downtown Worcester.
